AIAANDES Academic Programs
Escuela en Línea Español–Grades PK-8, all academics in Spanish and online, ideal for native Spanish speakers or Spanish learners.
Teacher-Supported Online Homeschooling K-8: Want more freedom to set your child’s schedule but the safety net of experienced teachers? We offer teacher-support for online homeschooling curriculum in Spanish and/or English. Use one of our teacher-supported curriculums to enroll under this option.
U.S. Online School: As a private independent accredited school registered in the State of Colorado, Colorado-based students are not required to take state tests, nor are they required to meet home school test requirements. We do regularly evaluate our students using brief screening measures to ensure academic progress is being made according to each student’s ability. Standardized achievement testing is available at an extra cost. Students can work at their own pace in the curriculum or join live teacher guided classes online.
International (non-U.S. based) Students: For our English academic program online, students must be native speakers of English or have a B2 level of English proficiency according to the CEFR framework.
For our Spanish academic program online, students must be native Spanish speakers or have a B2 level of Spanish according to the CEFR framework. We also offer bilingual curriculum and multi-lingual curriculum for independent study students.
K-8 School of Record English/Spanish: We offer “school of record” (also known as umbrella school or cover school) services for families with students in grades K-8. New students are admitted to School of Record on a 1-year trial basis and must meet the SOR requirements to continue enrollment in SOR. You may register your student with our school and use the curriculum of your choice working in conjunction with our homeschool advisors (who are homeschooling their own children) to ensure your child is receiving the necessary components of a basic, sequential education. Families utilizing this option are asked to provide monthly attendance reports, a list of curriculum, and to maintain a portfolio of student work for annual review. Access to your own online classroom using our SIS is included in monthly tuition. Families outside of Colorado and Delaware should check their state and local laws about homeschooling and private school enrollment out of state. If you desire a consultation to discuss your student’s specific needs, please fill out a contact request.
Dual Diploma Program:
Students who wish to earn both a private independent school diploma through AIAANDES and a regionally accredited high school diploma from a partner school may enroll in the Dual Diploma Program. The partner high school offers an 18-credit (Accelerated Diploma Program) career diploma and a 24-credit college preparatory diploma. Students in this program may be eligible for concurrent enrollment in credit-bearing college courses.
Pre-Diploma Program: Students in grades 7 and 8 or academically advanced students in grade 6 may take 2-3 courses middle school level courses through our partner middle/high school program. Students take one trimester to do two courses and finish out the year with the standard curriculum. This is a good option for students who may be interested in pursuing the Dual Diploma Program in high school.
Enrichment Only: Students who already have an education plan in place and do not require school services or academic support may apply to Enrichment Only and, on a space-available basis, enroll in our enrichment classes either online or face-to-face.
